Family Vacation Bible School
Family Vacation Bible School will be back this year from Monday, July 12th until Friday, July 16th!
The event will be for Pre-K to 8th grade students with volunteer opportunities for High school students. This year, we ask for at least one parent to stay with their child for Family Vacation Bible School. The event will be held in person and there will also be an adult group available for people with or without kids.
If you would like to sign up or volunteer, please click the attachment and turn in your form to the parish office before Monday, June 21st!!!
Family Faith Formation
Family Faith Formation will be starting back up sometime in the Fall shortly after the start of the 2021-2022 school year
We are currently looking for feedback of when would be the best day to host Family Faith Formation.
Please vote for which would be the best day to host Family Faith Formation for the next year!
Note: Parents would be able to leave early on Wednesdays to attend Mass at 7:00 p.m.

Baby Bottle Fundraiser
Sacred Heart Church will be hosting a baby bottle fundraiser to assist Transition Pregnancy Solutions, a non-profit crisis pregnancy center right here in Danville!
All you need to do is come by the church, pick up a baby bottle or two, then fill them with coins, cash, or checks, then turn them back in. If you already have bottles filled, please bring them to the church and pick up another.
The fundraiser will last until this Father's Day, Sunday, June 20th.
Please continue to pray for the spiritual and physical health of these brothers and sisters in Christ.

Teaching Opportunity-Special Education Teacher
Sacred Heart Catholic School has an opening for a Special Education teacher for the 2021-2022 school year.
Candidates should possess an enthusiasm about educating students, both academically and spiritually. The ideal candidate will have a current VA teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education. Candidates should have organizational skills, as well as effective classroom management skills.

Box Tops for Education
We are still taking Box Tops!
Box Tops for Education has a new app for attaining Box Top points. You can also go to BTFE.COM. They are still accepting clipped Box Tops and will continue to do so until products no longer have them on the packages. Labels may be left in the church or school office. These labels provide the school with free educational supplies.

will reinstate that obligation beginning on Saturday, June 26, 2021 and Sunday, June 27, 2021.

We will be decorating the church with poinsettias for Christmas.
If you would like to purchase a poinsettia in honor or in memory of someone, please submit a check payable to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in the amount of $16.00.
Place the check along with your printed intention in an envelope and bring it by the parish office.
The deadline for ordering is Thursday, December 17th.
